Structural Geology

Research into the structure of rifted volcanic margins is critical to hydrocarbon exploration. The VMRC undertakes research into the pre/syn/post volcanic structure of the volcanic margins as well as macro and mega-scale 3D structural mapping and micro-structural studies aimed at understanding the structural evolution of rifted basins through time.
