Van Mildert College has 125 ensuite rooms and 370 standard rooms contained in a series of six self-contained residential buildings with a central building providing meeting, dining and recreational facilities (including a bar/lounge) and a separate day-conference centre which is ideal for exclusive training and away days. The college buildings are grouped around a lake in attractive grounds. Meeting and dining facilities are accessible to non-residential visitors all year round by arrangement with the Conference & Hospitality Services Manager.

During university vacations other rooms are available for seminars/break-outs and conferences can be accommodated in the residential buildings - Deerness (ensuite), Tunstall (ensuite 3 diamond), Tyne, Tees, Derwent, Wear and Middleton.
