'Ask an Academic' Events

This is an opportunity to ask questions about academia, writing, publishing, reading or anything else related to academic life. These events will be beneficial for all postgraduate students, particularly those undertaking research as part of their degree or thinking about a career in academia.

    Van Mildert College Careers Workshop will be taking place on Saturday 24th November (10 am - 4 pm) and is a must-see for those of you thinking about life after Van Mildert!  We have alumni from ITN News, the Civil Service, the NHS, Network Rail, IBM, the Police and many other careers paths coming to run mock interviews, CV checks, offer internships and to tell us about their own career paths.  Watch out for the emails from the JCR to sign up for this fantastic opportunity.
