Communities

Like all colleges, in order to ensure a mix of students, we have a quota for each subject area. In Van Mildert there are:

• Undergraduates who are studing for three to four year degrees and belong to the Junior Common Room (JCR).
• Postgraduates who are studing postgraduate courses from one year vocational courses to Masters degrees and doctorates and belong to the Middle Common Room (MCR).
• Senior Members of College who are college staff, college tutors, university academic staff, members of the local community and alumni  and belong to the Senior Common Room (SCR) .
