International Event at Ustinov

With our new social facilities at Howlands Farm, there is a lot going on for you to get involved in. Regular party nights, discos, movie nights and our famous (in Durham) pub quiz. Most college social events for students, and facilities such as the college bar, are run by the student body, the Graduate Common Room.

Our regular social events are held in the College's own social facilities at Fisher House, Howlands Farm or in the common room at Keenan House, Dryburn Court. Events include:

Music Events

Music event at Ustinov

Past music events have included:

• Regular 'open mic' nights with featured guest bands from across the North East including Polarsets and the Semi Mojo Review 
• Annual Ustinov Summer Barbecue, providing a stage for a number of acts including as the Durham University Gamelan Society 
• Bollywood/Lollywood party, with recorded music from the Indian Sub-Continent,
• Karaoke evening in cooperation with our Chinese students and Scholars Association
• Thai Society music and dance evening
• World music and dance evenings organised by the Ustinov Intercultural Forum
