Who's who

There are a number of people who work in the College:

• If you live in College accomodation, you'll get to know the porters, maintenance staff and cleaners.
• Most students at some point go to the College Office at Fisher House, Howlands Farm, and speak to one of the office staff.
• The College Officers form the management team of the College. On a day-to-day basis, the Bursar deals with College maintenance and finances and the Senior Tutor spends a lot of time seeing students and dealing with their concerns. The Principal is responsible for the strategic leadership of the college and represents the best interests of the college within the University.
• College Council oversees the running of the College.
• All new students are allocated a College Mentor when they start at Durham.
