Unveiling Peter Ustinov and Penny Wilson
On 13th December 2012 Sir Thomas Allen, Chancellor of Durham University, paid his first visit to Ustinov College to unveil the portrait of his predecessor as Chancellor, Sir Peter Ustinov, and the portrait of former Ustinov College Principal, Dr Penny Wilson. Sir Thomas was accompanied by Durham University Chancellor, Professor Chris Higgens, many members of Ustinov College Graduate and Senior Common Rooms, and Durham University staff and friends. Professor Maggie O'Neill paid tribute to the work of her predecessor, Dr Penny Wilson, and Vice-Chancellor Professor Chris Higgens spoke about the contribution of Ustinov College within Durham's graduate community.
