University College dining hall

University College is a fully catered college. This means that during term-time, students that live in College accommodation receive breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week, as part of the Residence Charge. Student members of University College who live elsewhere may purchase a ticket to dine-in on occasion.

Meals are served in our magnificent dining hall, which can seat up to 220. The dining hall is the Great Hall of the Castle, one of the largest medieval halls in Britain, built in 1284. The College dines formally every Tuesday and Thursday in term-time when gowns are worn.

The College caters for students with special dietary requirements and there is always a vegetarian option.
