University College Announces Castle Cutting Edge

University College is pleased to announce a new lecture series showcasing the world-leading research of Durham researchers.

The Castle Cutting Edge Lecture Series will be held in the Senate Suite, at University College, after Formal Dinner on selected Thursday evenings.

Five speakers have been announced, with the first talk, by Professor Gillian Foulger, taking place on 22 November 2012. Professor Foulger's talk is entitled 'What is Science and how is it Different from a Belief System, and why does Iceland Exist?'.

Seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Refreshments will be served.
