June 2013: Recent Graduates Castle Day Reunion

As in past years recent graduates, i.e. students who left within the past 5 years, will be welcome to join the JCR and the MCR on Castle Day on Saturday 8th June. 80 tickets have been set aside for 'old(er) boys and girls' and these tickets can be booked via the Castle Day Coordinator, Amy Kemp.

Tickets are £24 (£27 if you would like a t-shirt). This should be paid by cheque which should be made payable to 'University College JCR Current Account'. Please put your full name and email address on the back. Please send your cheque to Amy Kemp, Durham Castle, Durham. DH1 3RW. Once received, a confirmation email shall be sent.

The theme this year is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory theme, and tickets will include champagne brunch and a BBQ, as well as entertainment including inflatables, the Quays, Castle Strongman, Big Band and much more!

There are plenty of cheap hotels in Durham now, like the new Premier Inn by the Gala Theatre, the Travelodge in Gilesgate, and Travel Inn at Belmont, or if you have really made it - the Durham Marriott Royal County Hotel, or the brand new Radisson in the City Centre.

So don't be left out – come back to the old Castle for a weekend of fun, bring a group of your friends; and have a good time.
