Welcome to University College
University College is a vibrant scholarly and residential community. From the UK and overseas, we are home to around 700 undergraduates and 200 postgradautes. We are also host to 400 Senior Common Room members, comprising staff, Visiting Fellows, and eminent people from the local community. Located in the historic Durham Castle, we are the oldest college of Durham University.

University College Showcases Research

For the first time, University College is showcasing the research of its postgraduate students and Senior Common Room members.
The new research website section features world-leading researchers alongside promising postgraduates, all of whom are members of University College. All of our researchers are contactable from these webpages.
The new section showcases some of the interesting research being undertaken by University College members, from molecular biology to global policy.
