Durham Castle Refurbishment Appeal

In the summer of 2011, the Castle is undergoing its first major refurbishment in decades with the University spending £5 million on the Great Hall (new floor etc), Servery, Kitchen, and student rooms in the Keep, Juction and Hall Stairs, to include many en-suites there.

Coinciding with this, the Trust would like to raise £40,000 to enhance the student experience by providing equipment, furniture and fittinmgs not covered by the University, for a new computer room in Hall Stairs, common rooms and kitchenettes in the Keep and Hall Stairs, and a new toastie bar.
