Vice-Chancellor's Sport, Music and the Arts
At Durham University we believe in creating an environment in which academic excellence can be combined with opportunities for personal development. One of the most important ways our students further their personal development is by taking part in the wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer here. Our students are amongst the most active in the country in the fields of sport, music and the arts and therefore we are pleased to announce that we will be awarding a minimum of 25 Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships for Sport, Music and the Arts worth £2,000 each year to students who plan to commence their studies at Durham in 2013/14.
Successful applicants will be prospective full-time home undergraduate (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man) students who can demonstrate an exceptional level of excellence in Sport, Music or the Arts (e.g. participation in sporting or musical events at a national or international level) and who are willing to play an active part in Durham University's sporting, musical and performing communities.
