The University costs page will help you to work out what your expenditure will be during your first year. Remember, though, that the costs on this page are very general. Find out or work out what your personal costs will be as much as you can.

  • You might be surprised at some of the categories we've put under 'Luxury Expenditure'. If a category, like 'Clothing' is under Luxury Expenditure it doesn't necessarily mean meant that having clothing is a luxury, it means that you get to choose how much you spend on it - and that if you spend too much your nice new clothes might be a luxury you can't afford!
  • Not all the categories below will apply to you, just fill in the ones that do. If you have a type of expenditure that doesn't come into any of the categories below, use the blank spaces at the bottom of each section of the table.
