Even if you live out of college, you will be a member of a college as the colleges are more than just places to eat and sleep. Each college is a small community providing a wide range of activities and facilities for study, sports, the arts, socialising, relaxation and welfare.

Undergraduates:

While we encourage all students to live in college during their first year, we appreciate that you may have commitments that mean you need to live out of college.

If you wish to live out of college during your first year please notify your college that you do not require accommodation as soon as you receive details of your college allocation. Contact details for each college can be found on individual college websites.

Postgraduates:

All postgraduates are members of a college but you can choose whether you would like to apply to live in college accommodation. We encourage you to live in college where possible in order to fully benefit from college life.
