College costs

Here at Durham University there are a number of different accommodation options available to our students. Prices vary depending on whether you live in fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered accommodation, whether you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student, and whether you require accommodation during the vacation periods.

Undergraduate residence charge

The prices which follow are for residence charge only for first year undergraduate students starting their programme of study in 2013/14. Please note that not all options are available in all colleges.

Term-time only let, no vacation residence. Storage over the Christmas vacation is included but not Easter. Charge includes all meals during term time, energy costs and IT connection.

Part-catered optional meal package: St Cuthbert's Society only
St Cuthbert's Society offers a meal package of 10 meals per week in term time to students living in their self-catered accommodation.
