By Ellie Kavanagh-Brown, Trevelyan College Fine Arts Committee

The Julian Trevelyan Memorial Competition in Arts, which is organised by TCFAC (Trevelyan College Fine Arts Committee) is open to all members of College, including SCR members. The event was originally made possible by the generosity of Julian Trevelyan's widow, Mary Fedden, herself a much sought-after artist but this year funding for the prizes is provided by Trevs SCR and TCFAC.

You are invited to enter an item of original art work in any medium completed during the past year. If you do not enter a piece of art work, please come along and vote on the presented art. Closing date for entries is Friday 7 June. Work entered should be brought to the Dowrick Suite, on Friday 14 June. Entries should not be signed as they are presented anonymously in the exhibition, which will be open on Saturday 15 June (10:00 - 16:00), and Sunday 16 June (10:00 - 16:00).

Entry forms and further details are available from the TCFAC committee, either: oliver.doyle@durham.ac.uk or eleanor.kavanagh-brown@durham.ac.uk
