Trevelyan College Musical Society

President: Fleur Baikie

TCMS is Trevs’ very own musical theatre company. We stage a large scale annual musical each February and the whole of college gets involved. Whether you want to be on the stage, in the band, backstage or help with the artistic side of things, there’ll be a place for you! In 2012 we put on ‘Anything Goes!’ to packed audiences and great reviews. Other recent musicals have included ‘How to Succeed in Business….Without Really Trying’, ‘Sweet Charity’ and ‘Funny Girl’. Those involved in the musical society often also stage a pantomime before Christmas and a Cabaret in the summer term – even more opportunities to get involved!

Trevs Christian Union

Presidents: Jack Winterburn and Hannah Hargrave

Contact: jack.winterburn@durham.ac.uk and hannah.hargrave@durham.ac.uk

Trevs CU exists to make Jesus known to Trevs. We meet together weekly to remind each other, from the Bible, about the greatest news in the world and to pray that we would live more in the light of it. This news is so amazing that we try to share it with the rest of college. We believe we have all shunned God by living primarily for ourselves, but God loved us so much that he sent his own son Jesus to die in our place so that we can have relationship with him, and spend eternity with him. We’d love to chat or try to answer any questions you have.

Delicious refreshments are also a feature of our meetings so come along and we can get down to the knitty-gritty!
