The Durham University Motorsport Club is hosting the first ever inter-collegiate karting festival on the 12th June 2012 – 12pm til 6pm. The chance to outdrive and outwit all other colleges at speeds of up to 60mph sitting only an inch off the ground.
Strategy is key, as entrants comprise teams of two in both sprint and endurance races, making this the ultimate post-exam challenge!
NO previous experience is required… just turn up and race! You’ll be told everything you need to know. So, find a friend from college you want to race with and sign up!
Transport and race kit hire is all included, a huge day of outdoor karting, at an international championship circuit (http://www.kartingnortheast.com), for ONLY £42pp (this would usually be in excess of £90pp). There will even be a huge trackside BBQ with the finest local produce on offer!
The winning college will be awarded a large custom made trophy to put in their trophy cabinet, made and donated by the host race track. There is therefore everything to fight for!
