At this meeting we will be joined by, Sara Farrell, Staff Developer from Leeds Metropolitan University and ILM 7 Coaching and Mentoring trainer. Sara will share the approach taken by Leeds Met to the topic of Coaching and mentoring and will provide us with some practical tools and techniques to use when coaching and mentoring colleagues. This forms the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) element of the programme.

The network members then break into Action Learning Sets, a form of peer support/ supervision, to assist one another with any coaching or mentoring issues that they are contending with.

Membership of the network is fluid, there is no requirement to attend all sessions, however there is an opportunity for those who wish to expand their coaching and mentoring skills to join the coaching and network framework and participate in a more comprehensive training programme.
