Target audience:  Those with little or no understanding about the budgets and budget management.  Aimed primarily at clerical staff taking their first steps in financial literacy, this should allow delegates to understand what budgets are, how they might be prepared, their function at Durham, their role in the planning process and the role of budget management and control.  This course will introduce some of the basic theory around budgeting and explain how it works at Durham.
