The University has over 300 endowment funds ranging in value from £4.5m to a few hundred pounds.  Some are invested in stocks and shares whilst others remain as cash.  The legal and accounting rules for endowment funds are technical and need to be understood by those responsible for their operation.  This course assumes no prior knowledge and explains everything that a budget officer or administrator needs to know to fulfil their obligations.  The course is essential for anyone having responsibility for an endowment fund - large or small.
