Location
Durham University lies in the heart of North East England, one of the country's most diverse and rapidly developing regions.
Durham is a spectacular cathedral city with an amazing heritage. Narrow cobbled streets wind their way around the rocky peninsula leading up to the majestic Norman cathedral and castle. The leafy banks of the River Wear offer peace and relaxation as well as stunning views.
Queen's Campus at nearby Stockton-on-Tees, meanwhile, offers a vibrant and contemporary setting on the banks of the River Tees. Stockton itself is a historic town, with a calendar filled with festivals and events, culminating in the annual International Riverside festival every summer.
