Social Programme

The Summer School gives you the opportunity to find out what being a student at Durham is like. While you're here you'll be able to try different societies, activities and workshops, as well as take part in larger college events, including a fancy dress night and a formal dinner and ceilidh. 

 The most important people you will meet on the Summer School are the Student Mentors. Our mentors are all current Durham students, and they are full of energy and enthusiasm for theUniversity. They're great fun and are really keen to make sure you feel at home and that you get as much as possible out of your time here. During the week they will be available to chat about university life. We will also provide lots of more formal opportunities to find out about applying to university.
