Supported Progression

Business and Finance

Business, Marketing, Accounting and Finance degrees

Our Business, Marketing, Accounting and Finance programmes are based at Queen's Campus - our modern waterfront location in Stockton-on-Tees.

These degrees provide high quality and progressive study routes that enable you to gain an understanding of essential and advanced concepts of business, finance, economics, accounting, marketing and management. In your second and third years you will take options from a wide range of modules, specialising as your interests develop. With degrees offering ideal preparation for employment in all areas of graduate work, employers world-wide recognise Durham Business School as one of the most pioneering schools.

What Will The Project Involve?

The assessed project will change every year. Last year's students wrote a report on a hypothetical whistleblower at an organisation. This character had discovered a potential fraud at their employer and needed advice. The students were tasked with advising them about taking the information they'd discovered forward. They also did a short presentation summing up what this person should do.
