Facilities and opportunities

At Durham we are committed to ensuring that we provide the very best facilities to support our students throughout their studies. We have a continual programme of improvements and annually invest millions of pounds in staff, students and facilities to make sure that you have access to high quality lecture theatres, seminar rooms and subject specific facilities such as science laboratories and dedicated libraries.
As part of the £60 million Durham Project in 2012 the new Palatine Centre, which will be completed August 2012, will open, housing a brand new student services building (including new Careers facility, Counselling services, Disability Services, Immigration and Financial Support Office and a catering facility), University Library extension, and Law School.
The Palatine Centre has been ranked excellent for its environmental design. Find out more about these exciting developments at www.durham.ac.uk/durham.project
As a purpose-built campus, Queen's Campus, Stockton offers a tremendous set of teaching/learning facilities.
