Welcome to the website for Durham Opera Ensemble, one of the most vibrant and engaging student societies at Durham University.

DOE produces two or three operas each year in a variety of venues on the bailey – from the magnificent great hall of Durham Castle, to the enchanting summer setting of the Fellow's Garden just a stone's throw away. Larger works are often performed in conjunction with Durham University Orchestral Society.
