Durham Grant Scheme 2012/2013
This information relates to 2013/14
Students who started their studies in 2012/13 and who are paying the "new" tuition fee of £9,000 will receive a Durham Grant of £3,000 in 2013/14 if their household income is less than £25,000 and a Durham Grant of £1,000 in 2013/14 if their household income is between £25,000 and £42,600, provided that they meet the other eligibility criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions.
How to apply
You do not have to apply to receive your Durham Grant. Eligibility is based on household income as assessed by Student Finance England (or equivalent). Provided that your parents/partner consented to share their household income information with the University during the statutory support application process, Student Finance England will pass your household income information to the University. We will then write to you and notify you of your Durham Grant entitlement. We will use your Durham email address.
How it's paid
Your Durham Grant will be paid into your bank account in termly instalments on the last day of each term.
All students in receipt of a Durham Grant are required to abide by the Terms and Conditions, which are below. Please read these carefully.
