The Durham Grant Scheme provides money on top of student loans and grants to full-time home undergraduates and PGCE students in receipt of the Maintenance Grant from Student Finance England.

There are different Durham Grant Schemes depending on what year you started your studies.  Click on the year you started your studies for further information on each scheme.  If you deferred your studies you should be on the Durham Grant Scheme from the year before you started your studies.

Please note that you will not have to repay your Durham Grant after you have finished your studies. The only exception is if you withdraw or suspend your studies part-way through the academic year and you have received payments intended to cover the period after your withdrawal / suspension.  In this instance you will be asked to repay any overpayment within one month.  If you are not able to do this please contact the Financial Support Officer (Undergraduate) to discuss an extension.
