Stephenson College is a self catered College

Postgraduate accommodation offers well equipped kitchens where you can cook, eat and socialise. There is a small shop in Stephenson Central which sells basic necessities and a local convenience store close to Campus. In addition to this there are a number of supermarkets within walking distance of Queen's Campus and Stockton High Street hosts a traditional market twice weekly where you can buy fresh produce.

The Waterside Restaurant

The College dining room is called The Waterside which is run by a professional, friendly and helpful team of catering staff and is open for lunch and evenings during term time. The Waterside offers a choice of delicious hot meals including healthy eating options, pastas, carvery, vegetarian and halal choices. Sample menus can be viewed for both day time and evening dining. The Waterside offers evening dining Monday to Thursday between 5.15pm and 6.45pm during term time and can be purchased on a pay as you go basis. See the Waterside website for more information. The Waterside is often transformed in to a stunning venue for formal College events including Locomotion Dinners and the Winter Ball.

Cafe Aroma in the Ebsworth Building is open throughout the day and offers a range of light snacks and drinks.

Both locations are a great meeting place for friends, with the benefit of plasma televisions and Wi-Fi internet.

Scholars' Suppers

Stephenson hosts regular Scholars' Suppers for their postgraduate students. Guest speakers are invited to share their recent research and discuss current affairs or matters of interest. These events allow postgraduates to meet others studying in their own and, other disciplines and to broaden their networks.
