The summatives are (nearly) all in and the holidays are upon us so why not celebrate with a Christmas themed party. Dress up as anything Christmassy e.g. santa, reindeer, elf, a present…! and come down to Club Midnight. There will be Christmas songs belted out all night along with the classics.

Well we’ve gone and arranged a fantastic end of term Toga Party at a well loved venue from the old days – Cornerhouse!

So Today is Children In Need and we want to join in raising the cash. The show will be on all night in central alongside some other activities from the JCR.
We will have numerous events taking place, including cake sale (so get baking), seeing if the guys are man enough to have their legs waxed for charity (GET VOLUNTEERING BOYS!), dying your hair,… shaving your hair or anything else you can think of to try and raise some extra cash!!

All ideas welcome. Come in and see us prior to the event if you’d like to help out. Please get involved!

The biggest event of first term is upon us. Its time for the Winter ball. Starting off with a three course meal in teh waterside this is a chance to dress up and have a great night. Entertainment will be provided throughout the night with more details being released closer to the date.

Today Winter Ball tickets go on sale. There have been over one hundred deposits down so the remaining tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Those of you who have paid their deposits will have one week to pay the final amount and then your ticket will go back on general sale and you will lose the guarantee of a place. If you are unsure whether you have paid your deposit please come along to the JCR office to find out.
