Our Accommodation Buildings

St Mary's has magnificent neo-classical buildings which are set in spacious landscaped grounds. The two buildings - Fergusson and Williamson - provide different types of accommodation: both have their own charm and advantages, from ensuite rooms to rooms that are especially quiet, or look out on to woodland or have a view of the Cathedral. All rooms have internet access.

Shepherd Wing

The Shepherd Wing is a separate area of accommodation for women students only at the west end of the Fergusson Building. It was completely refurbished during 2006. It contains 26 student beds in a mix of single and twin rooms, some ensuite, some standard. Most of the rooms are for undergraduates, on full-board terms. In addition there is a small allocation of ensuite rooms for postgraduates on a full-board basis in term-time, with easy access to nearby kitchen facilities for self-catering during the vacations. There is a small Reading Room for social use and study purposes.
