St John's College Chapel - Organ

The Chapel Organ was built by Harrison & Harrison for use in the previous college chapel, which is now the library. It was moved to its present location without any tonal alteration. It is a small, electric action instrument of two manuals and pedals reflecting the neo-classical trend of organ building of the 1960s, typified by the H&H instrument at the Royal Festival Hall, London.
The instrument’s specification provides some versatility for performing solo repertoire but demands of the executant discretion and tact when accompanying Anglican choral services.
