Reception

The College Office is open daily from 8.45 a.m. till 11.00 p.m. as a point of enquiry for all visitors. Outside these times a resident Conference Assistant is on-call to deal with any queries.

College Gardens ... 'A Hidden Gem'

The College's beautiful riverside gardens are the ideal place to relax. The riverside walks are an obvious delight to any visitor, and the University's Botanic Gardens, Archaeological Museum and Oriental Museum are within short walking distance.

Haughton Dining Room

Dining Facilities

Meals are taken in one of two dining rooms - Haughton Dining room (capacity 110) which is a traditional wood-panelled room overlooking Haughton Terrace gardens, or Bowes Dining room (capacity 80) which is furnished in a more contemporary style.

We offer a choice of full English and Continental breakfast.  We can also offer a variety of menu options to suit your requirements, including a healthy eating buffet options for lunch, and a four course evening meal with bar facilities.  Sample menus and  wine lists are available on request.

Our dedicated catering team is happy to provide special dietary requirements.

Car Parking

Local parking restrictions, including a Congestion Charge [on exit] now apply to this World Heritage Site. However, parking can be arranged in the nearby University car parks - please contact the Conference Team for details.

Coach Access

Coaches should be directed to the coach park below the Market and Millenium Place.  The Conference Team can arrange for transportation of luggage to College.  A local mini-bus service is available to Palace Green (beside the Cathedral).  Click here for details.
