St John's College - Bed and Breakfast

We offer comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation during the Spring and Summer vacations, to allow guests to experience the history and delights of Durham City and its surroundings. The summer vacation commences after Graduation in early July and continues to the end of September.

Accommodation is also available during term time, but availability is limited at this time whilst the students are in residence.  (Term time prices are available on request).

Accommodation is provided in standard single and twin or double rooms, all with wash basins, and we ensure that guests are accommodated close to bathroom facilities.  We have two twin en-suite guest rooms and one single en-suite guest room, and we also have standard family-sized rooms available during the Easter and summer vacations.  All guests are provided with complimentary soap, shampoo/shower gel and bath mat and there are tea/coffee making facilities and a fully stocked hospitality tray in every room.
