College Formals

The Principal of St Cuthbert's Society is responsible for hosting the college formals which usually occur 3-4 times per term. These are special events at which students have a 3-course meal served to their table accompanied by wine which can be pre-ordered from the bar.  The JCR often organise after dinner entertainment. Dress code is either lounge suit or black tie, depending on the event.  Other guests include college staff including the Senior Tutor, members of the SCR, college mentors and people from the academic and wider community.  It's a great opportunity to feel involved in college life whether you live in or live out and an opportunity to be aware of the the scholarly achievements of the students.
