Accommodation

Our accommodation is situated on two different sites: our Bailey site (fully-catered) and our Parson's Field site (self-catered and part catered).  The accommodation of 465 beds is a mixture of shared (Bailey) and single room facilities, of which 198 are en-suite (Brooks House, Parson's Field).

Bailey Site Accommodation

  • 40 single rooms / 35 shared twin rooms (same sex). 110 students accommodated.
  • All rooms on the Bailey are fully-catered: Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
  • Bathroom facilities shared between 7 to 8 students. Corridors are mixed sex.
  • Accommodation is offered on a standard let basis (inc. Christmas vacation but not including residence during the 2-week Christmas closedown).
  • All rooms are connected to the University's high-speed data network allowing access to the Internet.

Parsons Field Site Accommodation

  • All rooms are single only: 360 students are accommodated (first years, finalists and postgraduates)
  • All rooms are self-catered: First years can opt-in to a meal package; 10 meals per week (lunch and dinner, Mon - Fri during term-time).
  • The majority of rooms are en-suite.
  • Non en-suite rooms: Bathroom facilities shared between between 6 to10 students with approx two toilets and two showers. Most corridors are mixed sex.
  • Accommodation is offered on a standard let basis (inc. Christmas vacation but not including residence during the 2-week Christmas closedown).
  • All rooms are connected to the University's high-speed data network allowing access to the Internet.
