To all international cuthsmen,

Hiya! First of all, congratulation on the offers to study at Durham, one of the best UK universities there is. Very well done! I am your international representative of the year, Oswald Kan from Hong Kong China and a second year lawyer. As an international student myself, I understand there must be uncertainties and worries about fitting in and settling down. There is one thing I am sure about – every college in Durham is known for something and St. Cuthbert’s Society is renowned for its friendly people and the harmonious environment. You will be surprised how easy it is to start a conversation and become friends with people. Soon enough you will start to enjoy the life at college. Of course, if there is any problem, you can feel free to talk to me at the bar. I will be living in year and you can also reach me at Brooks C 1.6. I am your student rep and I will do my best to reflect your concerns. According to my own experience, I had an awesome year at Cuths and good time hanging out with international people from last year. I believe with all of you we will have another fun year!
