Refounders House is located on the Parson’s Field site, next to the Rugby Club and Social Science departments on Old Elvet. It’s located within minutes of the local shops, banks and the Students Union. The University Science Site is just a short walk away.
Refounders House is the first block in the Parsons Field complex. It accommodates 60 students in single bedrooms, separated into flats of six with each flat having its own kitchen, complete with modern appliances, as well as two toilets and two showers. Refounders House also has a cardiovascular Gym, complete with treadmills, bikes, rowing machines and a cross-trainer. There is also a 24/7 Computer Room with laser printer.
Refounders House also has provision for disabled access, including parking, and an easy-access bedroom.
All student rooms in Refounders House are connected to the University’s high-speed data network allowing access to the Internet.
- All occupancy agreements at Parsons Field span from the first day of the year to the last (38 weeks). This includes both vacations with the exception of the two-week University shutdown over Christmas and New Year
- All rooms are self-catered as standard
- However, first years can opt-in to a package offering 10 meals per week (Lunch and Dinner, Monday to Friday) for an additional cost
