Alumni
St Aidan's Alumni is the alumni association for the College. We exist to keep our body of some 7,000 alumni in touch with the intellectual and social life of the College and to ensure that former Aidan's students continue to form an active, vibrant part of the College community.
Membership
All students become life members of St Aidan's Alumni when they graduate and keep in touch through the Association Newsletter, published in paper and online every year, and through our annual Reunion weekends in September.
College life
We host regular annual Reunions in College for alumni, usually targeted towards a particular year group. In September 2009 we will host a Reunion targeted towards matriculates of 1982, 1983 and 1984: if you came up to Durham in those years, see the Reunions page for full details.
The Asssociation also participates in College life by helping to fund development projects (in recent years these have included the redevelopment of the College Library and the replanting of the Russell-Smith Garden) and by awarding current students of the College with travel bursaries to allow them to expand the scope of their intellectual development. Full details of these projects are publicised in the Newsletter.
