Professor the Baroness Sheila Hollins is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry of Disability at St George’s University of London, President of the British Medical Association, and an honorary Chair in the Department of Theology and Religion, Durham University. She was President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists for three years from 2005-2008, and was appointed an independent member of the House of Lords in 2010. This lecture is sponsored by the Centre for Catholic Studies and the Project for Spirituality, Theology and Health.
