Changes to registered modules

Undergraduate students

If you wish to change your registered modules you should request a Change of Registration Form, available from SPA or your department. You need to be 'signed out' of your present module and 'signed into' your new module. You must ensure that all the necessary departmental/faculty endorsements are obtained before returning the form to SPA.

Postgraduate students (taught)

If you wish to make a change to your module registration after having completed the registration process, you must complete a Change of Registration Form which can be obtained from the Graduate School Office. You must then obtain written endorsements on the form from the appropriate departmental representative(s) and return the form to the Graduate School Office.

Postgraduates students (research)

If you wish to make a change to your registration you should contact your supervisor who will submit the request to the Graduate School Office for approval. Full details of the procedure to follow are provided in the booklet 'Guidelines for Postgraduate Students, Supervisors and Course Directors'.

Changing degree programme

If you wish to change your degree programme you should request a Change of Registration Form, available from SPA or your department. You need to be 'signed out' of your present programme and 'signed into' your new programme. You must ensure that all the necessary departmental/faculty endorsements are obtained before returning the form to SPA.

Withdrawal from the University

The appropriate College/Departmental Office should be consulted at the earliest opportunity if there is any possibility you may wish to withdraw from the University. The Office will complete all the necessary documentation.

If you have accumulated sufficient credits, you may be eligible for an exit qualification (certificate or diploma of higher education). Exit qualifications will be sent to the permanent address held on record by Student Planning (usually parents' address).
