The Igloo...
Possibly the smartest looking College Bar at Durham University, we’re incredibly proud of this hidden gem within John Snow College. Offering a fantastic selection of drinks and snacks, a full Sky TV package, music system and plenty of comfortable seating, sofas and bar stools – The Igloo is the centre of life at John Snow College!
We run a number of events throughout the term within the bar including our famous Pub Quiz (Every Sunday at 6pm) and various film nights, pre-drinks before our student nights out and other similar events.

Opening Times...
The Igloo is open 24 hours a day for you to watch tv, work using the WiFi connection or just relax; however the opening times of the College Bar are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 7:30pm - 11:00pm
Saturday: 2pm - 11:00pm
Sunday: 2pm - 10:30pm
During opening hours the TV is under the control of the Bar Staff who will govern what is available to watch, this is in order to give priority to sports matches that may experience high demand.
