Dr. Tom Mitchell

Biography

Tom has significant experience of e-learning and e-assessment systems, initially from his time as an University Lecturer, and more recently as founder of Intelligent Assessment Technologies (IAT), providing innovative computerised assessment technology and consultancy to the UK e-learning and e-assessment sectors. Tom marries strong technical skills with a practical understanding of educational issues. He has regularly acted as consultant to SQA, working with key staff and stakeholders to help develop and refine SQA’s strategy for e-assessment and ICT in general.
