Examples of student work on the Alcohol Mashup

The artifacts below, in a variety of media formats, illustrate student interaction with newspaper reports and the data behind the stories. Students with a wide range of prior attainment in mathematics were involved in the project and these (with their imperfections) were judged as good examples of the sense students could make of complex issues. These artifacts are as the students completed them – we have not edited them at all.
