Japan and Asianisation of the Gulf
A reflection and discussion of the many complex dimensions of the Asianisation of the Middle East, and the Gulf sub-region in particular
We are delighted to announce that a workshop entitled ‘Japan and Asianisation of the Gulf’ will be held on 10 July 2012 at the School of Government and International Affairs, Durham University, sponsored by the HH Sheikh Nasser al-Mohammad Al-Sabah Programme, jointly with the Centre for the Advanced Study of the Arab World, and the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation. The workshop will bring prominent Japanese specialists together with colleagues from Durham to reflect on and discuss the many complex dimensions of the Asianisation of the Middle East, and that of the Gulf sub-region in particular.
