Research Centres & Clusters

The School Of Government and International Affairs contains three University level Research Centres, which are nationally and internationally recognised for their contribution to scholarship in their fields:

In Politics:

• The Centre for the History of Political Thought
• The Centre for Contemporary Chinese Studies

In the Institute for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies:

• The Centre for the Advanced Study of the Arab World (CASAW)

The School contains three University level Research Clusters that support and develop the research interests of all staff and graduate students.
