The Student Employment Service will be closed between Tuesday 31st August and Friday 3rd September. Normal service will be resumed on Monday 6th September. If you have any queries, or need any help, during this period please contact the Careers Advisory Service. 

Student Employment Service

Welcome to the Student Employment Service at Durham University, part of the Careers Advisory Service.

Its aims are:

• to help students find local part-time work (paid and voluntary) in and around Stockton and Durham
• to help employers source intelligent, flexible people to fill casual, ad hoc, ongoing and seasonal vacancies
• to provide advice on employment issues for students and employers
• to help employers offer work that best fits student availability
• to help students to help themselves to learn and earn and find work that fits with their pattern of study
