 's first monograph Iris Murdoch: Philosophical Novelist was published
  in late 2009 and he is currently working on his second, The Philosop
 hical Novel: A History as well as journal articles on post 9/11 fiction an
 d postcolonial fiction and French postmodern thought. He previously held a
  tutorship at the University of Sussex where he completed his DPhil.
