 eating both challenges and opportunities for older people and their roles 
 in society.  This seminar will examine the changes taking place 
 and the challenges they create.  It will then focus on the concept of
  'active aging in a changing society'.  Emphasis will be given to imp
 lications for retirement policies and programmes.
